Food and service was excellent! I went with my wife and two daughters. It's not a fancy place but the food was excellent and the staff were friendly. Good food portions. I highly recommend eating there.

Literal one of the best places I have ever had a chance to eat at. If you like real Korean food eat here! I never write reveiws but after tonight I was inspired enough to promote this wonderful place. The owner and waitresses were so kind and respectful. That and I ate so much I feel like I might burst.thank the heavens for places like this it makes life truly worth living, knowing people still care about the quality and passion food brings to the table.thank you so much for a wonderful meal!!

Pretty descent Korean restaurant in the Hampton Road area, compared to other Korean restaurants in the area. serves freshly made Korean soondae on Friday. good simple kimbab as well.

This has been our favorite Korean spot for several years. Great service and AMAZING food! Lunch specials are a great deal, and the portion sizes are generous. (Some favorites of mine include Kimchi Bokkum, Mandu Guk, Jap Chae, and Yuk Gae Jong! I need to get my “fix” every so often!!)

The food is delicious. It's a quiet place, and has a good atmosphere.

I like cold barley tea that they provide, which makes me feel like in Korea. (Koreans drink cold barley tea as water.) The side dishes come with main menu are the best. It is neither too salty nor blend. Very tasty. Other Soup and bulgogi are good. Servers are friendly.

Always a good place to eat. The staff is friendly, will answer questions and talk with you. The food is out of this world good! We had the Gogi Bokem and it is so delicious! We got accompaniments of bean sprouts, kimchee, and cucumbers that enhanced the meal and added to the enjoyment of this meal. We highly recommend this restaurant!!

Wonderful staff and amazing food

Unexpectedly dumplings and kimchi zi gae tasted good. It is decently priced. Customer service is mediocre since it is old Korean lady which is understandable as they act how they are. She did come to ask how is it later which I was surprised as I did not expect it while seeing the initial customer greet. Anyways it is alright place to go eat Korean food. They xan definitely improve customer sevice and food more to have that 5 star rating.

Solid Korean food. Not as spicy or seasoned as I would like, but certainly fast, well priced, and tasty. Good place for a quick lunch.

Dont let this place fool you. It is the real deal. Food here is amazing! If you are not sure what to get bulgogi and fried dumplings are definitely a go to! This place does not disappoint.

Had lunch here with my family and we absolutely loved the authentic Korean food. Staff were friendly and very welcoming. Loved the fast service and the food came out sizzling hot. I would definitely recommend this place and this will now be one of our favorite Korean restaurants.

I am glad we found this korean restaurant near us, we have been looking for one with great attention, service, and delicious food. We have had the beef bulgogi and pork bulgogi, both dishes were good. I just wished we got the same side dishes as korean people get when they eat there; we only got 3 different ones. We love Korean food and this is our to go Korean restaurant.

We got the Beef Bulgogi lunch and added Kim Bop! OMG... it was so good and fast service!!!!

Definitely the best Korean restaurant I've been together in years. The ladies that work here are very friendly and are helpful if aren't sure what you want to order. The atmosphere is pretty quiet and if you want to listen to a little music it TV, they have that too. I would eat here every day for lunch if my pockets would allow it.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! My Mom and I live in Williamsburg, and we try to go once a week. The people who work there are super nice. And the food, SO GOOD, trust me, I'm very picky. Went again tonight (July 2, 2019) had the stir fry squid and the stir fry pork, fried dumplings too, THE MOST DELICIOUS FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!!Went again yesterday July 24, 2019, MY FAVORITE PLACE! The food is so delicious, and the chef comes out to say hello, she is an amazing cook, trust me, you will love this place, it's not fancy, just FANTASTIC food.

Authentic-tasting Korean food. My mom says so. She's Korean and really likes the food here. I've enjoyed the take out every time we've ordered it.

Go on Fridays for their freshly made soomdae. The whole experience was exactly how it is in Korea, from flavors, ingredients, to even the huge portion sizes! If you want authentic, Chung Oak is legit. It's also priced reasonably for the amount of food you get, too. The staff are friendly. The owner even came out and chatted to us. :) So sweet!

The service here is amazing g. Every server I've had is very attentive and will help you with the menu. The best part is the food is delicious. Dont be afraid to try new things and dont let the outside appearance discourage you because this place is AWESOME! Prices are great too

The decor and ambiance is not the best, but the food is always delicious and the staff friendly. We have been eating here for almost 20 years and it is consistently great.

I went here because someone said they have the best bulgogi. It was good. I had missed the lunch special by 15 minutes. Lunch ends at 2:30pm. It went from $7.95 to $13.95. if you get the fried dumplings with it at lunch you pay $1 extra. If you get them at dinner with your meal they are $2 extra. I asked why and they said that's just how it is on the menu. The staff where really nice.
